Concurrent Enrollment
JUNIORS AND SENIORS
If you are interested in concurrently enrolling in college courses, the requirements are as follows:
Murray State College
Seniors – ACT composite score of 19 or higher or GPA of 3.0 or higher
Juniors – ACT composite score of 21 or higher or GPA of 3.5 or higher
Cameron University, Southeastern, and Southwestern
Seniors – ACT composite score of 20 or higher or GPA of 3.0 and rank in the top 50% of class
Juniors – ACT composite score of 23 or higher or GPA of 3.5
Students must have a 19 ACT subject area score to enroll in a college course in the corresponding subject area. (Example: to enroll in a science course you must have scored at least a 19 in that subject area.)
Students are required to pay an admissions fee required by the University and/or College. Students are responsible for other costs which may include fees, books, student ID, and any other associated costs.
If you plan to take concurrent enrollment courses your senior year it is important you take your ACT test your junior year. You cannot enroll in concurrent college classes without taking your ACT first.
