Greetings Sterling Public Schools Community,
It is my honor and privilege to serve as your next Superintendent of Schools. I am a father of two children. My daughter Sydney is a 1st grade teacher in central Arkansas and my son Blake is completing his senior year of high school. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in 1993 and a Master of Education in 2005 from Northeastern State University. I entered the Navy boot camp in 1988 and retired from the Navy Seabee’s in 2010. I have held numerous education positions from classroom teacher, coach, and administrator. I couldn’t be more thrilled and excited to be here and I’m looking forward to meeting you in the coming months.
Very Respectfully,
John Pinkston
